Molten Fangspawns in Pora Elinu. I'm much more confused about this particular boss because it's so wide. I'm not sure how to get behind it without dodging right through it, so I'm just going for the arms at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated.

BAMs for science!

It seems fighting a BAM several levels below you is good practice, as long as it's not too much weaker than you. You can see what it does without taking too much damage if you make a mistake or want to experiment.

In these videos, I fight BAMs not to show off (I'm just learning as I go like everyone else) or to kill them as fast as possible, but to figure out where their blind spots are and the range of their attacks. This'll be helpful later on, because TERA has recycled enemies at higher levels and I'm sure I'll see stronger incarnations of this type of BAM later.

I'm using Defensive Stance because I expect to eat hits while doing this, and I'm not trying to deal as much damage as fast as possible. The point is to get comfortable enough with the BAM to know where and how to dodge all of its attacks.

I don't really succeed, but hopefully it's helpful for you to see how the BAM fights.
