[Mission]
The Mobile Infantry has arrived in strength on the desert planet of Kwalasha. Its ultimate objective is the pacification of the planet and to make sure the mining of vital minerals proceeds without major interruptions.

Several squads just have been sent out to secure the surroundings of Outpost Delta-5 and the colonist settlements in the sector.

[Design Notes]
I've always wanted to see another game employ the "soldiers back up while shooting" aspect from Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy by Bluetongue. I originally was going to throw in a clip of Terran Ascendancy after the first fight to show the difference, and ask people to give a Like in the hopes that Terran Command's developers see this video to add that feature, but I didn't like how it was turning out.

After thinking on it for a while, I started drafting a script where I played the role of a FedNet spokesperson, narrating the actions taken in the mission. I continued to think on how I could still showcase Terran Ascendancy, and eventually hit upon this style.

Early Access games tend to use player feedback to improve upon ideas that players want. It's a long shot, but I really want to see automatic melee avoidance patterns become a thing in favor of the player. (In Terran Ascendancy, your soldiers will back up if they are in Cautious mode. If you place them in Aggressive mode, they will hold their ground instead.) Terran Command is the best chance for that to happen!

I expect to continue in this manner for the three missions in the current demo, where I showcase something from a previous game and hope it gets added to Terran Command. I hope you enjoy this style.
