Une vidéo de mon nouveau SNES modifié avec 2 switch dessus, 1 pour le "region-lock" et 1 pour le 50/60Hz, pour pouvoir jouer à Terranigma, version PAL, sur une télé NTSC. Ce n'est pas une cartouche reproduction mais bien la version originale Européenne.
Ce jeu-là fonctionne pas avec un convertisseur de région, car le jeu a été programmer pour détecter la région ET les Hertz aussi, un espèce de double-protection. Donc en ayant le region-lock enlevé, il faut démarrer la console en mode 50Hz, et quand le jeu démarre (logo d'Enix), on a qu'à la mettre en mode 60Hz et ça va très bien fonctionner!
Donc...c'est une excellente raison de recommencer à jouer sur la vraie console, et non en émulation.

A video of my new modified SNES, with 2 switches on it, 1 for the region-lock, and 1 for the 50/60Hz, to be able to play Terranigma, PAL version, on a NTSC television. This is not a reproduction cartridge but an original European copy of the game.
This game doesn't work with a region converter, because this game has been programmed to detect the console region AND the hertz used on the TV, as some kind of double-protection. So while the region-lock is set on disabled, you have to turn on the SNES while it's set on 50Hz, when the game boot up (Enix logo), you just switch it back to 60Hz and it'll work great!
So...it's an excellent reason to play again on the real console, not on emulator.
