TERRARIA IN SPACE | In The Tub with MoonQuest Gameplay [Early Access]
It’s my MoonQuest gameplay and first impressions video. Hey, watch my MoonQuest gameplay and see me jump around as a shiny green moon man!
Thanks for checking in to this MoonQuest gameplay and first impressions video. Moonlighter is an roguelike where gameplay takes place on procedurally generated planets on which you must slash and craft your way through for the MoonQuest gameplay. In the MoonQuest gameplay, the gameplay requires individual intuition, so if you are debating on whether the MoonQuest gameplay sounds like a game for you, please consider watching my video of the MoonQuest gameplay.
'In the Tub With' is a work in progress series in which I'll take a one off look at a game and it’s gameplay. I'll attempt to show off gameplay, the mechanics and provide some of my first impressions. It is in no way intended as a review but rather as a source of commentated gameplay footage for anyone contemplating spending money but would like to see it in action first. MoonQuest is the latest game to fall victim to my ‘In The Tub With’ treatment so please try and stick with me as I find my feet in this loose critique of MoonQuest and the MoonQuest gameplay.
Developed by Wizard Mode, the MoonQuest gameplay is fun but suffers from being Early Access, as it feels rather unpolished. MoonQuest has interesting presentation with good designs so you may want to check out MoonQuest but to me the MoonQuest gameplay feels confusing. The MoonQuest gameplay is inspired by similar games such as Terraria and Starbound where gameplay also includes generated dungeons.
Taken directly from its Steam store page, here’s a line or two about MoonQuest and it’s gameplay:
MoonQuest is a procedurally-generated adventure game with roguelike and minecraftian gameplay. Seek out the lost forest, delve into the spider caves, storm the castle of the Silver King, discover vast seams of gold ore, and craft a hat of such splendour that the cosmos will be jealous.
Released onto Steam Early Access on 14th July 2018 the MoonQuest gameplay is fairly fun but my first impressions have left me feeling flat. The MoonQuest gameplay has adequate challenge with lots of items to craft in order to strengthen your character. The style of MoonQuest is brilliant and it fits the gameplay suitably. In my first impressions and gameplay of MoonQuest I think it’s easy to see the game needs more by the way of tutorials and instructions.
MoonQuest is currently released on Steam and priced at £9.29. In my opinion, I would definitely wait for more to be added and probably until MoonQuest comes out of Early Access. I can say, the MoonQuest gameplay is a farily enjoyable experience but hasn't quite kept me engaged and wanting to see where it goes. From the MoonQuest gameplay video, you can see I’m only 30 or so minutes into the MoonQuest gameplay so who knows what other MoonQuest gameplay elements there are to discover so consider this if purchasing MoonQuest and you can get an idea of what’s in store by checking out this MoonQuest gameplay and first impressions video.
