I used a mod which shows damage and heals to make it easier to see what is going on. By using two +70 stamina/health rings, every time I switch to the other ring, my health and stamina is healed to 70 when im below 70. This works for magicka although then one item is enough as having it drop to 0 for an instant is not an issue as it would be for health in battle or stamina while sprinting.
