7Tesla Cyberquad For Kids Debuts With $1,900 Price Tag And 15 Miles Of Range. The Tesla Cybertruck has been delayed until 2022, but the Cyberquad has arrived on schedule – albeit in a slightly different form.
Originally unveiled alongside the Cybertruck in 2019, the Cyberquad is an electric ATV designed to fit in the bed of the pickup. Following its unveiling, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the Cyberquad would arrive around the same time as the Cybertruck, which was slated to be launched this year.
While the Cybertruck is running behind schedule, that hasn’t stopped Tesla and Radio Flyer from launching a $1,900 Cyberquad for Kids. It features a steel frame and a Cybertruck-inspired design with LED light bars. The ATV also has a cushioned seat, an adjustable suspension, and a rear disc brake.
Power comes from a removable 36V lithium-ion battery pack, which promises to provide up to 15 miles (24 km) of range. That’s pretty generous for a kid’s toy and Tesla said the battery can be fully recharged within five hours using a household outlet. Speaking of performance, the model has a configurable top speed with settings for 5 mph (8 km/h) and 10 mph (16 km/h).
The Cyberquad for Kids is designed for children eight and up, weighing up to 150 lbs (68 kg). However, you’ll have a tough time getting one for Christmas as the model is unsurprisingly sold out
