Tesla Holiday Software Release Prediction 2020 | What I think is coming in the Update | Version 11
84Elon Musk announced yesterday that “the Tesla Holiday software release is 🔥🔥”. This Tweet was followed up by “so many things you want & some you didn’t know you wanted”. In this video I cover the potential features that we will see in the upcoming release. I think looking back last year at what we received for the holiday update, could be a good indicator on what we will receive this winter.
Last year we got 4 main new features; full self driving preview, text message support, a revamped voice command system and Trax. These were all really great updates at the time. Using the same concept of 4 main new features, I think this year we could see camera improvements (okay various camera improvements… more about this in the video. IE: side camera feed, vector space bird’s eye view or video conferencing), external speaker sound effects, waypoints and of course more games (the Witcher, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto. These are all things that Elon has confirmed in the past that would come to Tesla in future software upgrades. It might be an ambitious list. Let me know in the comments below.
What I would love to see from this upcoming update is of course the FSD Beta wide release for everyone (#FSDBetaCanada). Maybe the new UI even if it does not include the beta? If the new UI is included, then I think they will call it Version 11. I guess we will have to wait and see. Lastly, Tesla, please fix the existing Santa easter egg so it renders the reindeer like it did in the past.
