This is my review for Test Drive Unlimited 2 for the Xbox 360, which was released in 2011 by Atari and Eden Games. It is the 10th installment of the Test Drive series and is the second of two games in the Unlimited line of Test Drive games. This game features two massive islands to drive on, both of which are modeled after real roads on real islands except modified to be more interesting. The first island, Ibiza, Spain, is where you start off at and learn the game's mechanics and physics. The second island is Oahu, Hawaii, which is the same exact one featured in the first Test Drive Unlimited game except with more roads and tracks to discover.

The game had a negative reception by players and reviewers, but that doesn't make the game terrible in my opinion. While the racing itself is pretty terrible because of the.......lacking physics, the main thing this game aces in is in exploration. There is alot to do on the islands, such as discovering roads/tracks, doing photo shoots, playing missions, and many other things. One of the best things about TDU2 is the F.R.I.M. system, which allows you to make money while doing stunts while driving. Considering how massive the islands are and how fun it is to drive fast around them, you're bound to make a considerable amount of money if you drive for hours. It's a grind-fest done right, in my opinion. There are not as many cars as there is in the first Test Drive Unlimited, but there is still quite a few cars to choose from. DLC was added to the game which added more cars and even motorcycles. You should get this game on PC and install the various necessary mods to improve the game and get it to actually work. The game has its share of bugs and glitches, most of which went unpatched, which is why the community itself made fan patches on the PC version to somewhat make the game less broken. Overall, TDU2 is by no means a perfect game, nor is it something one would call a good game, but this game will definitely be fun for car enthusiasts and racing game players due to how massive the game is.
