I bought this Japanese Sega Saturn from an eBay seller in Japan. It was marked as JUNK (a term Japanese use for not functioning in some way), but was pleasantly surprised to find that it works perfectly fine. I did have one game freeze on me, but it is entirely possible it was just the game itself and not the system. Every other title I tried from real discs functioned fine, as well as the cartridge slot and the MPEG slot (tested with the Satiator ODE).
