17Welcome back, everyone! Today, I’m diving into Beyond the Darkness on the Steam Deck, a unique indie horror-puzzle game that just released. Developed by a small team of four, this game combines eerie atmosphere, challenging mechanics, and clever puzzles. Performance-wise, it runs between 40–50 FPS on the lowest settings, with some optimization issues holding it back. Controller support is partial, meaning you’ll need to adjust to keyboard/mouse prompts. Despite these hurdles, the lamp-based gameplay and light mechanics make this game a standout experience.
