Testing Colour Forge Primer, Varnish and More (Also Fixing Frosting on Varnished Miniatures)
Always Board Never Boring recently received some hobby products by The Colour Forge, care of The War Hub. In this video he tests their black primer and matt varnish, plus various glues and basing materials. Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan, so this video also includes some advice on what to do if a spray varnish dries cloudy on your miniature, creating a type of frosting that ruins the paintwork. Note that if you are attempting to restore frosted miniatures, test your approach on a small area of a single miniature first.
The vampire lord demon creature in this video is a 3D printed resin miniature from Dynamic Prints.
