Testing PIGs Resources Mod for Ark Suvival Ascended
0Working on a mod that adds more depth to the base resources available to harvest in Ark. The goal is to add unique resources to each dino as well as additional ores, woods, and gems to vanilla nodes (e.g. metal, crystal, obsidian, trees, etc.).
This will give server owners the ability to create custom crafting costs / recipes for various items (vanilla or modded) that are much more specific and can require finding rare items, killing specific creatures, etc.
Resources are also subclassed form their vanilla counterparts and can be used as an alternative to vanilla resource in vanilla crafting. For example, Allo Plates & Horns is a sub class of keratin and can be used in any vanilla recipe Keratin is asked for and won't break any vanilla crafting.
In this video I am testing the Allosaurus resources that can be harvested to see what drops and how rare they are.
