Things are running nicely most will run at 720p without frameskip but not all of course. Not all games are a constant 60fps either but some of that is a combination of the original not being constant and a few frame drops. Nothing seems to drop below 55 fps. High end games like burning rangers will need to be run at 1x with frameskip for 60fps but not all are constant. If you leave the FPS indicator off you really wont notice. This is the standalone core not the lr core
