Since the 12 V system is going out, I was curious to know how well my reconditioned truck batteries have fared over the past 8 months.

Some of them did surprisingly well, speaking in favour of the viability of actually using truck batteries for cheap solar systems - while others fared not-so-well.

The final abuse of these batteries is coming up very shortly (and it involves burning metal).
