0Testing the Polish ML civilian gas mask with a 1980s Polish EO-14 filter.
I would not recommend breathing through an EO-14 filter as they may contain asbestos, however I decided to use one briefly for the video that looked like it was in good condition as I was interested if a 1980s filter would still work, the first EO-14 I tried didn't but the second did.
After the test I did a quick check with a pocket microscope as I've been asked before if Soviet/PACT gas mask hoses are coated with asbestos, it looks like cotton under the microscope.
