Inputting the BALL code (B button + A button + L button + L button) makes the game dramatically harder by preventing the "STOP" counter from increasing between combos. This means that the blocks are CONSTANTLY rising from the bottom, no matter how you perform. if you aren't careful, you'll have a SECONDS to react to massive blocks filling your screen. but also, look at how fast those stages are! most of them last only a minute.
