The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an upcoming video game based on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. It was developed by Sumo Nottingham and published by Gun Interactive. It features co-operative gameplay and player versus player (PvP) combat. The game features Kane Hodder as Leatherface and as a stunt coordinator, as well as Edwin Neal reprising his role of The Hitchhiker from the original film.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on August 18, 2023, also releasing on Xbox Game Pass on the same day. Before release, the game had a technical test which ran on May 25โ29, 2023.
Characters
The game features five different killers: Leatherface (Kane Hodder), the Cook (Troy Burgess), the Hitchhiker (Edwin Neal) and two other family members new to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, Johnny (Damian Maffei) and Sissy (Kristina Klebe). The victims featured are Ana Flores (Scout Taylor-Compton), Connie Taylor, Julie Crawford, Leland McKinney (Hunter C. Smith), and Sonny Williams. The story of the game revolves around the victims searching for Maria, the missing sister of Ana.
