Took a bit to get this together, combined with the crowded day one release, lack of open servers, queue lines being fuck long, and just getting bad groups in general, but this is done. One of the things I love about MvM mode is the wide variety of viable playstyles you can use, so I recorded a few and put them in a bit of a compilation. This is just scratching the surface of what is possible when you pimp yourself out through upgrades.

SHOWN LOADOUTS:

The Huntsman
Primary: Huntsman, upgraded with piercing shots, bleed on hit (one point), and faster reload. Everything else optional.
Secondary: Jarate, upgraded to slow affected targets.
Melee: Tribalman's Shiv.
Crit or Ammo canteens.

Crit Factory Soldier
Primary: Default RL or Direct Hit, upgraded for max damage, faster reload, and faster firing rate.
Secondary: Buff Banner, upgraded for maximum buff duration.
Melee: Any, though Escape Plan is preferred.
Crit canteen.

Demoknight
Primary: Grenade Launcher to make the first couple waves a bit easier, or Ali Baba's Wee Booties for health boost.
Secondary: Chargin' Targe for higher resistances.
Melee: Any, though Eyelander is recommended for the health boosting effect. All upgrades.
Uber canteen. At least one point in blast resistance, bullet resistance maxed. All other upgrades optional.

Widower Engie
Primary: Widowmaker, all upgrades.
Secondary: Any.
Melee: Any except Gunslinger.
Upgrade canteen for sticking to sentry more, or crit canteen for maximum self damage output. Maximum metal, blast and bullet resistance upgrades. All others optional.

Pyro Tank
Primary: Phlog with ammo, health on kill, and damage upgrades.
Secondary: Any.
Melee: Any.
Uber canteen, paired with blast and bullet resistances. Use the Phlog's secondary ability to heal yourself if you get in trouble.

Scout the Shazbot
Primary: Baby Face's Blaster, pierce shot, firing rate, and reload speed upgrades.
Secondary: Bonk! energy drink. Used to get out of a jam, act as a distraction for giants, or collect money easier.
Melee: Any. Atomizer not recommended, as you won't be jumping much.
Uber or crit canteen. One point in movement to hit speed cap. All other upgrades optional.
