THAT Battlefield 6 discourse has started again. OPEN VS LOCKED weapons is not so simple

I thought I would chime in on this topic because a clip of a leak from the "new" Operation Firestorm went a bit viral and people are once again up in arms about open/closed weapons because of 2 players one support and one engineer camping on top of a tower with sniper rifles ammo rocket launchers and APS. I can see that this IS an issue, however this is probably only 0.001% of players who would ever do this. If they decide to lock weapons they have to lock ALL weapon categories otherwise it doesnt solve the problem at hand, only dampens it. It is not a simple fix to have it one way or the other, while I still sway more towards open I wouldnt care if they locked the weapons, But DICE need to actually fully address this and not do what theyre doing by supporting both in the main game, Pick one and roll with it and put the other in portal if people want that experience. Right now I would say just lock the weapons and people would stop winging and whining about it.
