31Someone told me I was a warshed up songwriter who had no good original songs in me. So I decided I'd show em all by writing the folk song about how to write a folk song. This is the formula! Do this and you'll be in all the folk festivals like in 2 weeks.
I present to you a song by Lakota Sioux folk singer Floyd Red Crow Westerman. I didn't mean to make a Sunday night series out of it, but now I think I will...for his songs have meaning in a way that seriously lacks in todays music. Red Crows mother watched as he was taken away to residential school. They never got to really know each other.
