Am I the only person who actually had a lot of fun playing this game? Okay then. I been playing smash recently so it inspired me to go back and play a lot more anime smash inspired games, and surprisingly this was the first one that came to mind. I uploaded various videos about this game years ago, and its still wacky as ever...

One Piece: Gear Spirit is a fighting game for the Nintendo DS based on the manga and anime, One Piece. It was developed by Bandai and was released on August 30, 2007 in Japan. The game does not have a basic storyline. In this respect it is similar to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. series. In the story mode the player fight random characters at different stages, and each character has two event stages where they battle a rival or another character that is related to their story in the anime. For instance, in Blackbeard's story, one of the characters he encounters in his event stage is Portgas D. Ace.
