"Five card stud. Jacks or better to open." Hi! Flick here! I was shocked when I heard that at this year's Los Angeles Comic Con, actor Chris Potter would be making his first ever convention appearance. Chris is the first ever actor to portray Gambit, everyone's favorite Ragin' Cajun, and popularized the character to a mainstream audience. In my opinion, no other actor has matched the level of charisma Chris laid down. We talk about his unfamiliarity with the character going into the audition, the level of preparation he did (I think), his chemistry with Rogue, who should play Gambit in the live action movies, what mutant power he would want in real life, and I ask which facet of his career he's most proud of. Chris also helps me nail my Cajun accent so look out world, I may be your next live action Gambit. This is probably the most tongue-in-cheek interview I've ever done. It felt like Chris was answering how Gambit would actually answer. I love it!
