That time I accidentally fixed Shenmue Disc 1

2My brother and I have blown through two NTSC copies and now a PAL copy of Shenmue 1 on Dreamcast. We have had copies with all the glitches. On one NTSC disc when Ryo's father dies, he just says "Keep... EYUEYUEYU EH" and then the game died, it's been crazy! This game as you can see on the PAL disc was glitching like mad, but for some stupid reason, I was able to fix it. Here's what I did:
1. Boot up a Code Breaker disc and then put in the disc as normal.
2. Flip the Dreamcast upside down.
It didn't work the first two times but now it's working to where I can get him into town.
