Gomez Addams is in trouble! The conniving con-artist Abigail Craven and shyster lawyer Tully Alford have successfully barred Gomez from the family estate with help from the stern Judge George Womack, and kidnapped the rest of the family in an effort to obtain access to the vault within. Gomez must return to the manor, rescue the family, and restore the memory of Fester, who has been unwittingly turned against his own kin. Only then can he confront the thieves and reunite with his beloved wife Morticia.

The Addams Family is a pretty standard meat-and-potatoes platformer, very much a representation of the early SNES mindset of graphically pretty games with simple gameplay, but a generous secret room at the outset, an open area map design, and easy level-dropout mechanic keep the game breezy and kinetic. A halfway decent licensed video game is a rarity, and this one still fits the bill.
