The Adventures of Willy Beamish - DOS game
0What an interesting game.
This is a point and click game for the MS-DOS where you play as Willy Beamish and have to save the town of Frumpton from bad things. Willy is an average 9-year-old kid in typical town. He lives with an upper-middle class family and is a little bit of a bad kid. The goal is to make the right decisions so you're not in too much trouble. The game is over when you get into a lot of trouble or make a bad decision. I play through only a small portion of it. I figured that the best way to play it would be the DOS version, but actually it's the CD ROM version for the DOS. Unfortunately, that doesn't work too well on my computer, so if I play this again I will probably do so on the inferior Sega CD version. The Sega CD has long load times, but at least it has the voices which add a lot to the game. It make it feel like a real interactive cartoon.
I think the game, regardless of the version you play, is pretty good. The story, graphics, and music are solid and I just love how wacky and random it is.
