DX12 Stuttering Fix
1) Open the Windows Start Menu and seach for Exploit Protection.
2) Open the Program Settings tab.
3) Click on the Add Program to Customize.
4a) For steam:
Click on Exact File Path and Navigate to the path displayed on screen and select displayed file.
\steamapps\common\The Ascent\TheAscent\Binaries\Win64\
You should also be able to Add by program name and directly select the file.
TheAscent-Win64-Shipping.exe
4b) For gamepass:
Click on Add by Program name and direktly select displayed program file.
TheAscent-WinGDK-Shipping.exe
If you can´t add the program name you can also try to add it with the Exact File Path but I personally couldn´t get it to work. I will provide a detailed guide on how to excess the folder down in the description box.

5) Scroll down to Control Flow Guard and make sure check on the Override System Settings and turn off the setting itself.
Mutual Dependencies - Kill the Fullchrome not spawning fix
To fix this you can either just die and force a new spawn of those enemies. This worked for after killing 3 fullchromes and not being able to find the last one. There are enemies right around the corner you can certainly try.
The 2nd possible fix is to restart the game after leaving the area. This very important, you need to leave the area. If this also doesn´t work, repairing the game files might also help.
