Let me make one thing clear, it is a 100% possible to keep Gunnulf alive in that fight, however i am playing a honestman run, deaths are in fact permanent, if i lose a character its gone, i can reload, but i am not going to do this, choices, characters, everything is taken with you to the second and third game, this is what makes this game unique, its quite litirally a 3 book long story that you partially write yourself

this was a very rude wakeup call for me how fast people can protentionally die if you dont pay attention
