As has been demonstrated in both the last livestream — as well as a separate upload — the game disc is currently unable to load the next area after the "Narrow Sea"; instead, the game just produces a silent black screen after the loading screen passes. Numerous attempts at cleaning the disc and reloading the game (which otherwise plays fine) has been able to alleviate the situation.

Now the first plan is to boot up the current save file and try again and hope I get really, really lucky; if that fails, the second plan is to start the game anew, but to "speed run" my way back up to the "Narrow Sea" using various cheat codes, then using the "Level Unlock" code to bypass that area altogether.

The show must go on, after all…
