Please NOTE: This is not a historically accurate representation of the battle. I have added some historical liberties, and I have made it in a way I think that there's at least a small narrative to follow around. Let me know if I make any mistakes. I'll point them out in the pinned comment to watch out for my next time.
At 11:47 - its meant to be Son not sun, so sorry for that!
Around the end of the battle is the Sassanid intro - the audio is low so I apologise for that!
All, I have created a new video with Capitan Rex of Sparta (He played Parthia) while I played Rome. I made this battle using footage that I recorded - but Capitan is awesome. We have also collabed for the historical Battle of Guaglema which I will link Capitan's version here:

Sub to Capitan Rex of Sparta! He deserves it!
All music that is total war-related is the property of Creative Assembly, I don't own any of the music.
More information about the battle can be found here:
The Battle of Carrhae (Latin pronunciation: [ˈkarrae̯]) was fought in 53 BC between the Roman Republic and the Parthian Empire near the ancient town of Carrhae (present-day Harran, Turkey). An invading force of seven legions of Roman heavy infantry under Marcus Licinius Crassus was lured into the desert and decisively defeated by a mixed cavalry army of heavy cataphracts and light horse archers led by the Parthian general Surena.
On such flat terrain, the Legion proved to have no viable tactics against the highly-mobile Parthian horsemen, and the slow and vulnerable Roman formations were surrounded, exhausted by constant attacks, and eventually crushed. Crassus was killed along with the majority of his army. It is commonly seen as one of the earliest and most important battles between the Roman and Parthian Empires and one of the most crushing defeats in Roman history. According to the poet Ovid in Book 6 of his poem Fasti, the battle occurred on the 9th day of June.
