No, The chocolate Tacolate is not playing PUBG again. I've finished going through the VODs since choco uninstalled and I've found a few decent games that he forgot to record or tell me about. So was this particular game really the beginning of PUBG's end? No. The game was crashing plenty in the days and weeks before. But this is when it starts to get really really bad, and the chocoTaco YouTube community - namely those of you not on Twitch - didn't get to experience the agony with the rest of us.
