The Best Car Products/Oil/Additives/Etc - That I Use To Keep My Car Running Like New
So in this video, I specifically go over the products that I use in my 2008 vehicle. Now I will say specifically for the oil in particular do not use 5W-30 SAE oil unless your vehicle is designed for it. Make sure that your specific oil type is one able to be used in your vehicle and then two. If there's a royal purple version of it then use that particular style of royal purple oil. I'm just using the bottle shown for the sake of visual demonstration and showing of it, outside that though always make sure to do your due diligence and research for all the products that I am showing in this video prior to considering using it. But that all said, these are the products that I personally use, and I can say for at least my vehicle that I have definitely noticed a huge difference after using them and that 2024 was my first full year of using these quite frequently for the sake of maintenance and so every time I'd fill up on gas I would use a Royal Purple Max Clean or I would use Royal Purple Max Atomizer Fuel Injector Cleaner. Then of course as it pertains to my oil which usually I do every month or every 2 to 3 months depending I would use usually Marvel Mystery Oil but if that wasn't around then I would use something else. Usually, it'd be STP Synthetic Oil Treatment.
Then of course during the winter months, as it pertains to my windshield washer fluid, I would use Rain-X's De-Icer as it applies the Rain-X water beading while also helping melt the ice. Then of course during the summer and spring months where it's on average 32 and up, I would use the Rain-X Bug Remover because again it applies the water beading application and along with that, it helps with removing bugs a lot easier than other products and of course helps clean the windshield. So it does all sorts of things for me as someone who really takes mirrors and windows and windshield cleaning very seriously as I like it clean all the time. I definitely appreciate these products.
As it pertains to the additives there is an ongoing argument in regard to whether they actually work or not. If they're a waste of money and so forth well I can say after a full year of using these products that yes absolutely they work for me and I could definitely tell a noticeable difference. When I step on the pedal the responsiveness has gone from a delay to immediate and just the overall operation of the vehicle has gotten better and my miles per gallon has been much better too. Just overall everything has gotten better. So yeah, as long as you're using it properly you should be just fine.
