Adam Czajkowski with a rating of 2232 was definitely a favourite to win the 10th IBCA World Junior Championship for the Blind and Visually Impaired. He was on 4.5/6 with three draws and half point behind the leader Mirko Eichstadt. While Mirko could manage only 1.5 out of three rounds, Adam won all of three games and became the champion with 3.0/3.
