The BEST method to Max Social Link for the Devil Arcana in Persona 3 Reload (Tanaka Guide)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
I mentioned in the video that you need Rank 4 Courage and Charm in order to start the Devil Social Link. This is not the case and only Rank 4 Charm is required.
While there aren't many characters in Persona 3 Reload who reappear in other entries of the series, fans who discover Persona 3 later may recognize the representative of the Devil arcana - the Tanaka Social Link. Tanaka assumes a minor role in Persona 4, but here in Persona 3 Reload, he is a fully developed social link with all the intricacies that entails. This guide aims to assist you in navigating and efficiently maximizing the Tanaka Social Link.
The following is how these GUIDES will work in order to keep them as concise and easy to understand as possible:
- I will be showing you how to complete any prerequisites to start each social link
- I will also be showing you how to complete any intermediate additional requirements such as, rescues from Tartarus, or overworld items that are required to progress
- I will assume that you will have a matching arcana for each hangout. This means you will have a Persona in your stock that matches the arcana you are going to hang out with. Don't worry too much if you do not have a matching arcana but that does mean you may need to hang out with a social link more in order to progress through the ranks.
- As mentioned above, regardless if you have a matching arcana or not, sometimes you will need to spend extra time with a social link in order to rank them up. These will include, dorm hang outs, Sunday message hang outs or even movie hang outs.
- All responses chosen throughout the video are the most optimal ones in order to get the most amount of Social Link points (the little notes). You can always deviate but just keep in mind that means you may reverse a link with the wrong response.
- Any romance options I will show both the romance and non-romance route
- Finally, I will not be showing you how to max every single link in a single playthrough. There are plenty of guides online to help you with that. This GUIDE is purely just to show you how to rank up each encounter as fast as possible with the 'correct responses'.
