28Because today marks the 30th anniversary of the theatrical release of Disney's animated classic "The Little Mermaid," the film that started the Disney Renaissance, the Big Bad Wolf shows us another chapter in the history of Disney's record division, when they started coming up with their own prequels and sequels to the Renaissance-era Disney animated features. In this case, he plays for us "Ariel and the Secret Grotto," a "Little Mermaid" prequel from 1991 taking place when Ariel was 14 years old, began putting together her secret grotto, and met Scuttle for the first time!
