Addressing a public meeting in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the BJP government at the center has always prioritized the development of Tamil Nadu. He added that Tamil Nadu is in the heart of the BJP. He said that people are increasingly supporting the BJP as they have understood the misdeeds of the state government. He added that there has been a 3-time increase in tax devolution by our government than the UPA government from 2004-2014. He said that the Congress and DMK never prioritized the development of Tamil Nadu. He said that the biggest beneficiaries of Modi’s guarantee are the poor and that the government has always sought to prioritize Garib-Kalyan. He added that Modi’s guarantee has facilitated the reach of the fruits of development to all in Tamil Nadu.
