7th September 2015 marks the 75th anniversary of the start of the Blitz.

Nazi Germany began its eight-month attack on Britain during the Second World War, lasting from Autumn 1940 to Spring 1941.

There were German raids on 16 cities, and London was bombed for 57 consecutive nights.

Charlotte Cross went to meet one woman who survived.
