Ever wonder how many died in my animations? Just want 26 minutes of pure death or looking for a nostalgia trip of how far I have come? Any of those reasons and this video will be worth watching. This could be longer if I included my other animations on another older channel but I am just gonna keep things to what I have on this channel. I will warn you, my older animations are rather bloody so yeah. Partially the exaggerated style I ran with.

TIMESTAMPS:

-2014 Stick Fighter Era was the beginning of my animating. While very scuffed, it is part of the journey which brought me to where I am today. These were short videos I made ever since I started messing around with animation programs in 2012. I took massive inspiration from pivot animations from people like The Big White Gun at the time and these animations where made rather quick with little to no effort and planning.

-2016 Stick Fighter Return was when I decided after 2 years of break to do something with my channel for fun. I got a new tablet and found an editing program to edit audio in with. This was a rather revolutionary time. More planning and direction was taken with things and this brought the return of my series of Apocalypse. This series was overall a test run for animating something simple as animating gunfights takes more effort then animating zombies getting gunned down constantly. The original Apocalypse didn't have much of a story driven direction due to the lack of a video editor and the lack of my capability to hold my own on creativity of different events. While much better in animation quality, it still was only the beginning.

2016 - 2017 Stick Fighter Era Ending I began to experiment with 60fps in Stick Fighter through recording my screen at 60fps and trimming as well as speeding up certain a half speed rendered file at this point. It looked smoother and overall better. Only drawbacks were occasional inconsistencies in framerate. This era also brought my signature first person 2D animations back and better than ever. This was also the time I began to consider moving to SN in which I inevitably did. I had already done so much in SF that there wasn't anything else I could do. I wanted to push myself, so I moved on from Stick Fighter and left it behind to pursue more complex animation.

2017 Beginning Stick Nodes Era was a rough but refreshing start in a new program. I continued things that I didn't need to do from SF a little bit like speeding up my FPS x2 after rendering with interpolation. SN interpolation is something I was new to and vastly underestimated. I animated at 30fps which was a very sudden jump in the amount of frames I needed to put together. While enabling interpolation I didn't realize my animations where already 60fps interpolated when using tween at 30fps. I also had to move to using frame by frame gunshot sounds rather than slapping in a long sound file in post. I also began to rapidly push for more detail in my animations. With other peoples detail work being beyond what I was used to, I used them all as a bar to haul myself up with. I took Berkes completely detailed, colored and functional weapons as a standard to set for myself. I created every figure in my animations from scratch which allowed me to learn a lot. I pushed myself a lot in this time.

2018 - 2021 Project Landfall Era is my greatest era of improvement. I found mowing zombies down to be old and though it was time I brought myself to the more complicated gunfights. You see this mentality run into Apocalypse here as well despite that series being my beginning series. With my abilities being so much better, I started work on Project Landfall. Something that I might have been jumping into too quick and biting off to much on my own to chew. I soured to the top in detail and SN asset creation within months and pushed a whole community to do more. Treat SN as more than a basic animation program and try to push it to its limits. I took story telling much more seriously with this new mentality of being better and always improving and familiarized myself with the things that make and have made my animations great. I expanded upon that and rushed things and made mistakes but also learned. I continue to carry this mentality today with constant competition that I might have just encouraged. And with all competition, I am proud and happy of that. I have now also found my limits and know that ambitious projects of mine are not to be done alone, but with the people that willingly follow me.
