The cute sword giggled at the boy as Assistant Manager Bear fell to the ground, slain.
"This sword is giving you a message!" The hallowed turtle cooed to the boy. "Allow me to translate."
The sword's eyes glittered and it gave a :3 face before giggling more and blushing.
"The sword loves you, boy. You must marry it to fulfill your quest."
The boy nodded solemnly, then nodded happily, then nodded with a sense of despair, the nodded thrice more, one for each bell toll.
And so they left for Vegas..

Sorry I'm a little late on this one. I don't have an excuse, so you'll have to make one up yourself. X^D
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who participated and wrote something. There were some really great ones, and it was difficult to finally choose one to work with. Again, there's no special criteria--I just choose the one I like most or one that takes the story in a good direction. For future compositions, I'd prefer it if you kept video game mechanics out of it, though. I want to keep this fairly light-hearted and random--things such as inventory systems just get in the way, in my opinion.
For the next one, I will be taking more story submissions. If no one decides to write anything, I'll just write it myself. Remember to have fun with it, and fire away!
