Es gibt mittlerweile wirklich zahllose Verfilmungen zu MARVEL-Comics, aber nur wenige richtig gute Spiele… und noch weniger gute Strategie- und Rollenspiele. Gut, ist auch ein sehr spezifisches Raster, aber genau diesem hat sich das X-COM-Studio Firaxis mit MARVEL’S MIDNIGHT SUNS angenommen. Das soll nicht nur strategisches Gekloppe mit Deckbuilder-Anleihen, sondern auch “rollenspielige” Lebenssimulations-Elemente mit den Spandex-Heldinnen und -Helden verbinden. Eine ambitionierte und ungewöhnliche Idee, die vielleicht ein bisschen wehtut – weiß zumindest Matthias zu berichten.

Weniger zahllos sind Scifi-Survival-Horrorspiele. Weil das mittlerweile auch im Triple-A-Segment verstanden wurde, bewegt sich aber langsam wieder was. Glen Schofield, der damals auch DEAD SPACE miterfunden hat, legt deshalb mit seinem neuen Studio Striking Distance nach: THE CALLISTO PROTOCOL ist mit jedem bluttriefenden, schmoddrigen Zentimeter ein DEAD-SPACE-Equivalent. Ob es auch an dessen Qualitäten anschließen kann, verrät euch der Test von Trant.
