The CM Punk and AEW drama continues as Fightful Select dropped a major update today. As we know, we haven’t seen CM Punk since All Out last year after a brawl that took place after the media scrum. It was reported that Punk knocked out Nick Jackson, Ace Steele was biting ears, chairs were being thrown and puppies were being saved. It was a hot mess.

Tony Khan and AEW suspended all parties involved in the brawl. However, The Elite made their return to TV and also did not lose their EVP positions. That is something that I still think should be revoked from them.

Anyways, reports over the months have come out stating that CM Punk could possibly be interested in returning. Well today, Fightful Select confirmed this. According to them, CM Punk told AEW that he wants to return to the company.
