Developed and published by Sierra On-Line in 1989 for MS-DOS, "The Colonel's Bequest" is an adventure game using SCI0, 4 bit colour and a text parser.

Set in 1925, we play as Laura Bow, a young 20 year old girl who is invited by her friend Lillian Prune to come and visit her family at a decaying sugar plantation manor owned by the reclusive Colonel Dijon. Quarrels break out amongst the family after the colonel reads the terms of his will and mysteries occurrences begin happening around the manor. It's up to Laura Bow to investigate and get to the bottom of it all.
