Welcome back, Codeheads!
In this video, I continue to play scenario 3 of The Colonists! Now that shipbuilding and construction 1 is researched, the boatyard and harbor can now be built. While those are being built, I strengthen up log and plank production as well as stone mining.
Join me as I have the robots build boats and start exploring other islands on the map to search for much-needed resources to exploit.
The Colonists is a city builder for robots! The robots are looking for a new home to escape their human masters, so they escape on a rocket to find a place they can call their own.
This indie game title is a strategy game with its own unique take on the city builder genre. For example, the sections of roads are built between two posts with a carrying robot between them. When resources show up at the posts, the robots deliver them to the next post in the series if it is going beyond that section of road. It is a little like a fire brigade style of resource transportation.
