What elements make a good fighting game? It can't be hard, but it can't be too simple/easy. The amount of offensive and defensive tools need to be about 50/50. Correct PREDICTIONS and quick ADAPTATION must be the most important factors that determine who deserves to be a winner.
Guaranteed damage and long combos are for people who do not want to actually fight their opponent. Hitting your opponent when they cannot defend themselves makes you a LOSER and a SCRUB.
In this game, with THESE two characters specifically, it's all about patience, creating opportunities, and outsmarting your opponent--not executing broken, anti-competitive zero to death combos.
I even found a way to make it feel like DOA. Some stages have elements that function like danger zones. Parrying is universal (let go of guard as soon as your opponent attacks), and there is a special counter move (1-way hold basically, but not overpowered).
Allowing certain items (non-abusive ones) not only spices up the gameplay a bit, but it adds a really comedic element to the matches. You can be serious and laugh at the same time. That's what I call a good video game.
Don't even assume that I won every match either. My win record is probably 40-60%. So many people destroyed me. But you know what? I didn't complain and say, "this game is trash" or "this game is broken" or "they didn't deserve it". Instead, when I lost and got frustrated, most of the words that came out of my mouth were "I'm bad", "they're better than me", "I can't do this", "it's too hard to win". I didn't blame the game, I blamed MYSELF. I never do that in DOA. I rarely blame myself in DOA6. DOA6 is a piece of trash. Every character is either cheap, overpowered, or broken. 95% of the time I lose in DOA5/6 is because the game is not made properly.
Can you believe it? The game I overlooked all these years is almost exactly what I was looking for my entire life. #Hidden gem

Why God Undeniably Exists (philosophy):
Origin=The thing that existed BEFORE anything else, even before time and space (the natural realm).
If the origin is not God, the origin does NOT have free will. The origin is uncaused, which means it is eternal. We came into existence (time-based event). Without the origin possessing FREE WILL, we would NEVER have came into existence, because the origin would CONSTANTLY have been doing the SAME thing it was doing for all eternity. Nothing would have STAYED as nothing.
God is uncreated and eternal. But the reason why we can exist from God is because He has free will to DECIDE to create. Something cannot happen unless an action is taken. An action WAS taken, therefore God undeniably exists.
