More original PlayStation 1 demo discs, back at last! It's been a while since our last stream of this series, and we'll continue to work through these. This one has quite a bit of sports games, which I'm no good at, but there's also a couple of classics on here as well, like Parappa the Rapper, Tomb Raider 2, and Cool Boarders 2. Once again, I've used a random number generator to determine the order that I'll be playing all 12 of these demos in, mostly just for fun and to make things a bit different. Wish me luck, and let's hope for no crashes!

Alright, here's my usual rankings, best to worst 1 through 12 of the demos on this disc. And, remember, this isn't a statement on the final released products, just from first impressions based on the demos alone, as if I played these on a desert island and had nothing else besides this disc:
1. I.Q.: Intellegent Qube. This puzzle game was super fun, and a very long demo complete with video tutorials with voice over. I'm not sure how long it lasts for if your gameplay is perfect, but you can practice a lot before the actual release, which is really great. I want to play more.
2. Fighting Force. Very cool arcade beat em up, like a 3D Streets of Rage. Not sure how long the demo is, but I'd play more. Mindless fun.
3. Nightmare Creatures. You're not too agile or powerful, but it has some AWESOME atmosphere, and it's a fairly long demo with a big area to explore. I'd play the main game. Empty Hero streamed this if you're curious to see more.
4. Cool Boarders 2. Why did this demo feel so much better than Cool Boarders 4? Fun race, cool style, half pipe mode was meh.
5. Test Drive 4. Not a bad driving game at all. It's cross country, which is a plus, arcade style timer, old and new cars, driving through a lot of locations with cool atmosphere. A nice drive and chill game, maybe like an old Outrun game.
6. Tomb Raider 2. Despite my whining, this one wasn't SO bad. More bright, open, and diverse than Tomb Raider 1, and not as drab or needlessly complex as the Tomb Raider 4 demo I played for the Pizza Hut demo series. The graphics and locations are good though. Those microscopic spider enemies, not so much.
7. PaRappa The Rapper. Fun song, very likable, I always loved Master Onion. The lyrics made me laugh, but it's the intro stage so it's simple, short, and easy. That said, the rhythm bar is pure jank. I will be playing this one on stream at some point, so keep an eye out.
8. Bravo Air Race. This one wasn't so bad. Kinda strange though how you can't veer up almost at all, and need to hammer on the gas the entire time. This made it so I had to just follow the guide path almost perfectly, which was restrictive. That said, it was unique if nothing else. I don't know, not a whole lot here to hate or love, but it wasn't bad. Meh.
9. Vs. This one was pretty cool, as far as 3D fighters go, from what I could gather. Only one fight though, but the game-feel wasn't as bulky as when I played Dynasty Warriors in the last part. I'm very much green when it comes to fighting games, so let me know what you think of this one in the comments.
10. NFL Gameday '98. I would throw this below Nuclear Strike, because I hated it, as I hate most football video games, but at least this game lets you play for a little bit before kicking you back to the main menu. There is replay value, as I could keep trying until I figured out the needlessly convoluted controls. Maybe someone who's super into football games can tell me how this compares to Madden or NFL Blitz in the comments.
11. Nuclear Strike. What little I played was fun, if very easy, simple, and mindless. It could be the best game ever, but it sure is a cheapo move to have only a 60 second demo. What the hell, EA? Guess you guys never did change.
12. Colony Wars. Oof. I feel bad throwing this here, but it didn't work for me. I'm assuming it was fine on the actual disc on actual hardware, but I wasn't able to play it. I clearly liked the lore though, haha. Anyway, I did hear this one was actually good, so be sure to check out some gameplay footage of this one or just try it out for yourself.
