The Crew 2 - The Summit "Nightshift"
9Here we go with the new summit. This week a bit earlier as i have something to do during the next days and as expected this summit is more enjoying than the last ones.
The speedtrap was surprisingly quick done yesterday noon. We made it both to get a good run within about 5 minutes. I remember the last time we needed about half an hour here.
On the escape i needed also only 2 starts. If i would not had made some mistakes during the run, which caused me to reset 3 times (plus one crashcam) i probably would have gotten my first worldrecord in a summit since The Crew 1. If i find the time until wednesday morning i will definitely repeat it.
The Portfoliage-race was the event which i spend the most time on yesterday. It was an almost 2 hour session until i had luck to slide into finish without hitting some rock or trees. I had one run that would have been a couple of seconds faster, but i hit a rock 10 meter before the finish which cost me about 10 seconds. I'm not sure i will repeat that one, because it's the only really annyoing event in that summit.
The streetraces are more or less easy. On The Sleeper i chose the GT-R, because i wanted to see how it competes against both S2000. Since we have this race here without rain i will maybe test all japanese cars during the week, but i can't promise it. On Electric City i drove both Skylines - the normal one and before that the new special edition - but the normal one seems to be slidely faster. The difference i noticed between both cars is that the normal one has more bodyroll but better acceleration and the special edition is more stabil but has less power or less nitropower. For the Camaro RS i didn't found perfect settings so far. I could be a couple of seconds faster when i wipe out the wheelspin on that car.
The driftevent is also more or less easy, but the 370Z is not the best driftcar. It just has way to less power to drift properly.
On the mixed event i also need to find some better settings to prevent drifting in the corners. Then i might get a time under 2m20s. But like said we will see if i find the time to improve my scores in this summit.
Overall it will most likely be one of my best summitresults even when i don't rerun the events.

On the next summit we will have only events with Koenigseggs. the preview shows mostly bad weather, which is already a downside. I addition to this the eventchoice is not the best either, seen we will have Latrell Part 1 (on snow), which is an offroadfestival, Bronx (on wet roads) which is also a cutfest and a mixed event on snow. It will be again a summit where i run everything only ones.
