Yesterday i did all the events of the current Summit "Polar Rush".

What was planed to be a one hour session turned out to be a seven hour session, because it was just fun to practise. Before i started my goal was just a save platinumrank and then let it be. But after i saw how good the results turn out i caught fire and tried to see how far i can go in the respective events.

In addition the event that should be the worst for me astonishingly turned out to be the best (pointwise). I'm no friend of airplanes and never was a good drifter. Luckily there seem to be not that many players at the moment who have a scorebreakerset, so the result in the aerobatic skilltest was better than expected. But i repeatet it only twice, since i still don't like planes. (The airrace event showed that pretty clear again at the end of the session. This is the only event where i did not achieve a result over 100.000 points, although i was missing only 2 seconds.)

The driftevent was the best experience yesterday. Usually i started to drift with gamepad just to set a score to complete the event, since i never got it working with the wheel. Back then in The Crew 1 the driftspec was just undriveable with wheel for me and so far it was no difference in The Crew 2. But after i failed again badly with the controler, because i had no control over the car, not even with the very good pro-settings of RaceMasterDave (video linked down below), i desperatly started to try out the drifting again with the wheel. And what should i say: The settings of Dave helped so good, that for the first time i achieved a score over 500.000 points in a driftevent. The score could have been higher but was limited by the multiplier and i touched the wall 10 seconds before the end of the race. Nontheless it was really fun and especially pretty chilling to drift with my wheel.

The "normal" races where not that hard but fun to drive also. Only the AlphaGP-race on a racetrack was a little bit annoying to me personally. I didn't bother to get a better score here, i just did one finished run.

The escapetest took the most time to practise until i had at least a decent score. My goal was to get over 4.000 meters and because of the weird RR-physics it took me around an hour. I'm still considering to do an outtakes-video. As for the speedtrap i didn't waste that much time. As you may know already a lot of players achieved their best scores with boats falling from the sky. But i didn't bother to try that out. I just took a dragster and got also over 500 km/h, which was good enough for top 100.

In the end 6 of 9 events ended up in the top 100 and two of them even in the top 20. Overall i achieved rank 30 overall when i finished the session.
