The Darkened Twins (Duality) - Original Composition by Archduck
4Today's piece is self explanatory on what you should going in. A theme for a friend's set of OC characters, got a wild story of its production if you want to stick around, scroll down, and find out for yourself.
Story time with the Archduck: Travel back in time about 4 years. I had been composing for about a year at this point, and was getting confident in my skills. The one thing I wasn't confident in, however, was my inspiration to write new pieces. So, naturally, since I wasn't single back in those days, I decided that I could get inspiration from my girlfriend at the time, and get to look cool in front of her, no sane man could pass up such an opportunity. So I start this piece, and I stopped it after I couldn't get it to work at all. Recently, I've picked this piece back up after scrolling through the entirety of the music files I've made over the years, and decided to take up the challenge of making it a piece of music, just like my younger self dreamed of. Man did it take some work to fix the original sketch of this, then finish the rest of the music. I hope I captured the characters, it has been 4 years since I've heard about them after all.
That said, I did tell her that I'd write a piece, and I stick to my word. Her fault for not giving me a deadline.
