Both are afraid of his growing power and order him to destroy the mines of Erebor, an impossible task. But the Witch King of Angmar has no power of his own, for he is a minion, a mindless slave.
But the Dwarves hear the wind of this from spies from Dale, and they rally out to meet the Witch King of Angmar to strike him anew!
