Peter Brock's death sent shockwaves throughout Australia as motorsport had lost the king of Mount Panorama. Peter Brock had won the event at Bathurst a record 9 times in his career, and it's likely the record will never be broken. Peter Brock solidified himself as a touring cars legend, and his untimely death is still remembered as one of Australia's darkest days.
