A clip from S01E02 of the 1995 documentary series The Death of Yugoslavia.

General Martin Špegelj, former Croatian government minister, was recorded by the Yugoslav counter-intelligence service in a meeting with two other men discussing the formation of a Croatian Serb rebellion against the Yugoslav army. The recordings, aka the Špegelj Tapes, were edited into a documentary by the Zastava military film center and broadcast to the Yugoslav public.

Following the broadcast General Špegelj was forced to publicly refute the recordings on TV. In this clip Perica Juric, politician and former member of the Croatian Interior Ministry, describes how he was approached by General Špegelj after his TV appearance. Chilling stuff!
